What the data tells you
MahaRERA records grievances flowing in both directions — buyers complaining about a builder and builders pursuing buyers (for default, possession refusal, society-handover disputes, etc.). For someone deciding whether to put crores into a flat, only the first direction is the real signal.
So we count only what buyers have actually filed against the builder. By that measure, the top 10 below are an order of magnitude above the Pune average. The list is also concentrated by builder — repeat appearances aren't a coincidence.

How to read this
A complaint on MahaRERA is a formal grievance, not a lawsuit. The most common reasons buyers file: delayed possession, undelivered amenities, refusal to refund, or non-compliance with a prior order.
The Last 12 months sparkline shows how buyer-filed complaints are distributed across the most recent year on a per-project basis. Tall bars on the right mean grievances are still actively coming in.
The Possession column compares each project's originally promised completion date — the deadline the builder gave MahaRERA when they registered — to today. "6.8 yr late" means the builder promised to be done six years and eight months ago.
The Status pill is what MahaRERA's portal currently lists. A red Active · Selling badge means the project is still legally allowed to advertise and sell new flats — regardless of how many complaints exist against it.
